Summer Bucket List

Monday, June 15, 2015

I'm linking up with Natalie and Rachelle @ What the Teacher Wants for some Summer Bucket List fun!  Believe it or not, I've been on summer vacation for 3 weeks already. Every single second of it has been AWESOME! It's so nice to slow down, focus on my family (and myself) , AND create my own schedule!! Lots of goals and must do things have already been checked off my bucket list, but with 6 more weeks to go, I still have many more things I want to accomplish!

I'm looking forward to reading these professional development books this summer...I love having time to read and reflect on my teaching practices during my time off!

I'm also planning do a little updating here and there in my classroom. After moving out of my house (and another move in 6 months), I could not commit to completely changing my classroom decor, but I'm going to rearrange, add new things, and organize/clean everything!

Coming Soon...

Summer is also my favorite time to work on creating things for my classroom/TpT. I'm working on a new fraction math unit right now that I can't wait to share with y'all! It should be ready in a couple of weeks!

The most important and sweetest thing on bucket list is spending time with my babies! If I don't do anything but snuggle and play with them this summer, I will be one happy mama!
I'm also looking forward to officially selling my house. Our closing is this Friday! Yay! Excited and nervous about building our new home and living in a small apartment until it's ready!!!

Going to the beach is always a summer bucket list'er. We went a couple of weeks ago and had a blast! Also, plan to get my pool time on as much as possible and start making design plans on our new home!

What's on your summer bucket list? Link up here!

Hey!!! I was looking at your blog on Bloglovin' and I saw you want to read Jan Richardson! I was fortunate enough to work with her in my previous county (in VA.) I worked with her as a 5th grade teacher and as a K teacher, we even previewed that book when it was a draft - that was pretty cool! She did training for us since she was a consultant for our schools!

I would love to talk Jan with you, especially since I now am looking at it with first grade in mind! Let me know if you'd be interested!
