The cotton field down the road from my house was a perfect spot for our fall family pics. The cotton was in full bloom and gave the illusion of a soft blanket of snow! Can you say Christmas card pictures?!?! So excited!!!

Pumpkin Time!
Enjoyed every single moment of pumpkin carving and decorating with my sweet boy this week! He is currently obsessed with all things ninja turtles, so making a Leonardo pumpkin was a MUST to match his Leonardo costume. The things we do.

And here's a snapshot of Parker on Halloween with my nieces...HA!

Book Character Pumpkins
My first graders brought in their book character pumpkins to share this week! I was impressed- too cute and creative for words!

Johnny Appleseed Play
My sweet class and I went on a fun field trip to see a play about good ole Johnny Appleseed...it was wonderful and fit in perfectly with our folktale hero standards!

Shapes! Shapes! Shapes!
We continued to explore 2-D and 3-D shapes in math.
Here are pictures of few of our favorite activities!
2-D Shape Monsters

Geoboard Fun!
Building 3D objects with marshmallows and toothpicks!
And the Greedy Triangle!
For more shape activities that I used, you can check out an old blog post{here}!
Don't forget to link up your Five for Friday post over at Doodle Bugs Teaching!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend...I'm super excited about having time to work on my "Graph It" packet tomorrow...with conferences and report cards it got put on the back burner for a minute, but I can't wait to finish and share it here soon! Stay tuned:D

XOXO

LOVE the cotton field pictures! They are fabulous! And the ninja turtle pumpkin is precious, how creative! I can't even believe how awesome the class pumpkins are too...I never would have thought of that! Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend!
Love the photos of your family! Good luck with the report cards :(
Your family pictures are absolutely gorgeous!!
It's never simple when what we have been usual to is hauled out from under us. We see the notice signs, maybe for quite a while, however we simply don't pay consideration on them. At that point, one day, while everything all of a sudden changes, we feel sucker punched. We feel mishandled, hurt and rejected somehow in light of the fact that everything should continue as before. Be that as it may, it never does. payday loans
