Last weekend, I was blessed beyond measure to meet up with several sweet friends that I've met through blogging & TpT over the last few years! We all landed in Nashville for a weekend full of honky-tonk-tastic fun! Hours and hours of nonstop awesome chit chatting, laughing {sometimes until we were in tears}, shopping, and of course eating made for the perfect trip together! From bloggers to besties, these precious ladies mean the world to me!
Amy Lemons {Step Into Second}
Deedee Wills {Mrs. Wills Kinder}
Erica Bohrer {Erica's Ed-ventures}
Cara Carroll {The First Grade Parade}
Sarah Cooley {First Grader At Last}
Amanda Nickerson {One Extra Degree}
  Rachelle Smith and Natalie Crockett{What the Teacher Wants}
Abby Mullins {The Inspired Apple}
Michelle Lynn {Fabulous in First}
Kim and Megan {Kinder Gals}

 We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. You must stay here if you are ever in Nashville {they give teacher discounts}!! The picture above is of the garden area INSIDE the resort and below is a beautiful glass sculpture inside the lobby!
Just amazing!

We celebrated our expectant mamas with a baby shower!!
Downtown Nashville, here we come...shuttle style!

Downtown fun!

And I was even able to get the best hugs from THE Joelle Lemons {Amy Lemons' daughter}! She is more precious in person if you can even believe that!!

My sweet hubby also joined us. Yes, he's quite the trooper to hang with a huge group of ladies!! Love him!!
As you know, all good things must come to an end.
After two personal days away from my first grade babies, I was greeted with cards galore..

and a very FULL bucket!!
I was also welcomed back with a class set of adorable "Where is Mrs. Brantley?" writing pieces. This was an idea I got from the one and only, Cara Carroll. They were hilarious & the perfect sub activity!

Want to do this with your kiddos?

I'm off to enjoy the rest of my furloughed fall break ;)....of course, I will be spending it cleaning & organizing my house!!!
I promise to be back soon with more to share!!

**A big thank you to Natalie and Cara for taking such gorgeous pictures of our trip!**
