Here's my five randoms for the week....

Going to the pool with my sweet sidekick never gets old! Joining a pool = best summer investment EVER!
I'm a teacher mama, y'all! We have school at my house usually from 8:00-8:30 if anyone wants to join us. Funny thing is that Parker begs me for more "practice" sheets! Ready or we come, PreK!

Here's a sneak peak of what I'm working on right now......
This upcoming unit focuses on the Common Core standard NBT.A.1{Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral}. I'm really excited about it since this is what I'll teach first in math! Hoping to have it ready to share in detail by the end of next week! Stay tuned......
I'm in LOVE with our brand new movie theater! Last week, my hubs and I went to see Man of Steel & while P is with his g'parents tonight, we are thinking about going again!! Hmmmm....The Heat, The Internship, This Is The End, or World War Z???  Choices, Choices......Any recommendations?

 Have a blessed weekend!

Hi Anna!
I love it that your son is starting so early with handwriting! Good for you! Your new Math unit is something I am looking forward to buying. Most of my current math manipulatives only go up to 100 so please keep us posted! Happy Friday!

I saw World War Z. It's good, but not great, because it's the same Zombie movie as every other Zombie movie with a different director's spin on it. But, gee, I feel like that's almost every movie now-a-days! It's worth seeing :-) Can't wait to see your 120 pack when it's finished.

That's an awesome float. Also dedication to be up and productive at 8am. He's going to rock PreK.
