Common Core-Writing Narratives All Year Long in First Grade

Monday, August 27, 2012
I can't believe I've already been in school for 2 weeks! WOW! Time flies when you are having fun!! I'm loving that routines and procedures {for the most part} are in place! That means it's Common Core time!! Woot! Woot!

I'm so excited to start teaching my little writers about narratives next week! I'll be supplementing my lessons with my new Common Core-Writing Narratives All Year Long in First Grade resource.

It includes graphic organizers that can be used for organizing ideas for any narrative, writing prompt sheets for the entire year {all major holidays, seasons, etc.}, personal and fictional narrative task cards, editing checklists, and reflection sheets.
Here's a sneak peek.....
For more info about it, click {here}!

And here's a freebie for you! Click the picture to download a sample of fictional and personal narrative task cards that are included in the packet!

Stay tuned for the informational and opinion writing packets that are coming soon!

Have a GREAT week!!!

This looks fantastic! Your work is always on my list to buy because it is well thought out. You encourages me to work hard on improving my own units that need to be aligned to the common core. I can't wait for the informational and opinion packets! Thanks
